First grave on the right tell the story of Charley Davidson, who is a Grimm Reaper. She's not only a Grimm Reaper but she is THE Grimm Reaper. The book starts out with Charley returning home a little beat up from a case that she had been working on. She then gets a phone call from her uncle who is a detective about a triple murder. When at the murder scenes she meets up with the spirits of the victims and with their help they are able to stop a human trafficking ring.
I have always loved supernatural books and this is one of the better ones that I have read. I love that there was humor also put into the story.

My Sister The Vampire No. 1 Switched Book Review
My Sister The Vampire No. 1 Switched
By Sienna Mercer
Book Review By Valerie Harridge
I've always been looking for books that had twins as the main character. Being a twin myself I always wondered why there were never really any stories with twins in them. That was until I came across the My Sister The Vampire series. I really liked that they used identical twins in this series.
In Switched our tow main character Olivia Abbott and Ivy Vega meet for the first time and have a few adventures after they meet. The first one was switching places after finding out that they are identical twins. Second was cheer leading tryouts and the third was the all hallows ball.
In the beginning of the story we meet Olivia Abbott who just moved to the town of Franklin Grove. Olivia was a little nervous about starting a new school and is worrying about if she is going to make new friends. Then we also meet Ivy Vega who is a resident of Franklin Grove. Even though they are identical twins they are totally different from each other. You see Olivia was a preppy girl and Ivy when we first meet her is a goth. It isn't until they start getting close Ivy tells Olivia that she is a vampire.
One of the adventures they have after finding out that they are twins is they decide to play a prank on one of the snotty girls named Charlotte. But during the switch Olivia accidently get a date for Ivy with a guy Brendan that Ivy has had a crush on for a long time. Because of that date Olivia has to dress up as Ivy again to go to a planning committee meeting for Ivy so that Ivy can go on the date. At the All Hallows Eve planning committee meeting Olivia gets Ivy nominated to be head of decorations.
Now because Olivia got Ivy head of decorations, Ivy has Olivia go to the meetings and Ivy goes to all of the cheer leading practices in Olivia's place. At the end of the book the All Hallows Eve party is a success and Olivia makes the cheer leading squad.
The My Sister the Vampire-Switched is a really good book for the beginning of the series. I loved how it was written. I loved how the writer wrote how the twins act around each other just like how twins always act around each other.
I recommend this book series for anyone that is looking for a series that has twins in it.

Six Centuries of Great Poetry Book Review
Six Centuries of Great Poetry
edited by Robert Penn Warren and Albert Erskine
Reviewed by Valerie Harridge
I love poetry and have tried my hand at writing a little. I mostly enjoyed reading it. I really liked reading the first writings of poetry and reading how poetry has evolved over the centuries. I have read a lot of poetry books and I have to say this one is one of the better ones that I have read.
It starts off with the work of Geoffrey Chaucer and goes through the centuries of William Shakespeare to ending with Wilfred Owen. I say if you are looking for a good book of poetry to read with a cup of tea this would be it.
