Cunningham"s Encylcopedia of Magical Herbs by Scott Cunningham

     This book is a guide to different herbs and what they were used for in Wiccan and other cultures.  It is a great reference guide for any kind of herb.  It can be used as a quick reference or you can use if for a good read to learn more about herbs.
     This book is more of a reference book about different herbs that were used for Wiccan or other cultures practice.  It goes into the differenct terms they are called, Gods and Goddess', and what the herb was used for.  It also gives what planet represents the plant and they also have genders.
     My favorite part of the book was just the history of each herb and what some cultures used the herb for.  I found it quite interesting and loved reading the whole thing and will be using it as a quick reference on my bookshelf.
     I highly recommend this to anyone interested in plants and history of what plants were used for what.  This book is like I said a great reference for people interested in these kinds of herbs.

Buried Secrets by Emme Rollins

    This book is a great paranormal romance with action and adventure in it.  It starts out very sad and then you get caught up in the mystery behind the sadness.  You also get to feel that you are some how connected to one of the characters.  It is a real page turner of a story.
     The book focuses on Dusty and the loss that she has just had.  It follows her as she finds out what happened and also finding out who she is.  She realizes that she was a shadow of someone else and becomes her own person.  She also finds out some family secrets that might have caused her to loose the one person she cared about.  That there is a monster out there and that it must be stopped.
     My favorite part of the book is when she is with her friends at the bar she works at to come up with a plan to kill the thing that has been killing innocent people in town.  That even though you can tell that she is scared; she is still wanting to go with the plan so no one else gets hurt. 
     If you love paranormal books with romance mixed in than this book is for you.  It mixes the right amount of romance along with paranormal elements and action.  This will be a real page turner that you will not want to put it down until you find out what happens next.
